Carthage sculptor April Davis Leiter grew up among oil paints, canvases, sculpting tools and bronze castings. She sculpts her delicate flowers entirely by hand. Each sculpture is then fired and painstakingly painted with great attention to the many colors that nature provides. Leiter is now working with Incolay USA reproducing jewelry boxes with her work in cameo relief.
